EMP would screw up AM radio signals for a little bit but they’d recover in short order. Dunno what useful thing one could disperse at 40k feet. UV and wind north of 100 mph mean a low probability of any biological dust or vapor making it down to lower altitudes. Now for an OT question. What if it had an EMP at that altitude? Virulent pathogens?
That’s why I think they wanted it shot down over Montana. Seemed intentionally provocative.EMP would screw up AM radio signals for a little bit but they’d recover in short order. Lol whut? That’s why I think they wanted it shot down over Montana. Seemed intentionally provocative.
If what the Pentagon is claiming is true (and I think it is), the spy balloon hovering over a missile base in Montana was an intentional act. China would have known it would be sighted and were probably wanting it shot down there.Lol whut?
Balloons don’t hover or steer at 60,000 feet. They’re literally going wherever hundred mile per hour winds push them. If China has figured out predictive weather models that precise or, gasp, full on weather control, the Pentagon has likely cornered the market for low cost brick manufacturing in the northeast until we catch up…If what the Pentagon is claiming is true (and I think it is), the spy balloon hovering over a missile base in Montana was an intentional act. The Pentagon said the balloon could be maneuvered. Also some unsubstantiated reports are claiming that it had explosives on it.Balloons don’t hover or steer at 60,000 feet.
