Let's not forget that Creepy Joe is only pulling out the 2-3K Big Army troops. Guess who's still gonna be there? Private contractors and US Spec Ops doing training, logistics and who knows what else and CIA spooks doing whatever the hell CIA spooks do. Afghanistan may have a lot of mineral resources (eg, lithium and rare earth elements) that we'd like to get our hands on. And it may be an important nexus for cross-continent gas and oil pipelines. We may be pulling out some grunts but we aren't really leaving. The US never gives up anything.
