What offices are on the ballot? Who are the most 2nd amendment friendly candidates? Early voting starts Nov. 17, 2010. Discuss please. Thank you.
Ms. Lee has a video on her web sight that's definitely worth a look. :righton:Taler said:I encourage everyone in Fulton County to vote for Kelly Lee for Superior Court Judge. Check out her website at votekellylee.com .
I know the candidate, she is well qualified, and a constitutionist. Her opponent is, well, not.
better shes honest and admits what happened then lie or not pay taxesGAGunOwner said:The DUI from college in 1990 is ancient history. The 2002 DUI (and magnified by the 1990 DUI) not so much for a person trying to be a judge in 2010.
So meet her (Kelly) yourself, have a chat, and believe or don't. And by all means, chat with her opponent, who includes "fairness" in every address regarding how she'd adjudicate.GAGunOwner said:The DUI from college in 1990 is ancient history. SheriffOconee said:I only know Toni Davis, and I know her well.
She believes the Constitution says what it means, and means what it says.
She told me the same story about her experience with a firearm, however, she is going to take our firearms class in October here at the SO if her schedule allows it (she arranged this back in July, this wasn't a recent thing)
She is very easy to talk to....not condescending like some lawyers are......
If you have questions, call her and talk to her.
I bet she will take your call, or call you back as soon as she can.
Anti-Defamation League, Atlanta
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Defamation_LeagueADL is an advocate for gun control legislation. The ADL supported the District of Columbia before the US Supreme Court in District of Columbia v. Heller which argued that the city's ban on the possession of handguns and any functional firearms, even for self-defense in the home is not prohibited by the Second Amendment. The League urged the Court to ensure that states retain the ability to keep guns out of the hands of "violent bigots."
Gun rights group Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) has been highly critical of the Anti-Defamation League. In pamphlets such as "Why Does the ADL Support Nazi-Based Laws?" and "JPFO Facts vs. ADL Lies," the JPFO has accused the ADL of undermining the welfare of the Jewish people by promoting gun control. In a 2007 handbill the JPFO accused Director Abraham Foxman of knowingly supporting the "use of Nazi gun control laws in America." Foxman has written about the JPFO: "Anti-Semitism has a long and painful history, and the linkage to gun control is a tactic by Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership to manipulate the fear of anti-Semitism toward their own end."
