I guess you could say he has seen the light.
At least he's man enough to admit he was wrong.
I really like that particular definition of a "conservative". I've never seen it before, but I'll certainly remember it.
Thanks for the post mzmtg.
Send this man a note of congratulations.
As an aside - see, screaming is an effective self defense tool!
That thug was lucky his potential victim didn't break out the ultimate weapon :
Interesting thing is, these liberals really think that "gun enthusiasts" are of the opinion that carrying a gun will solve all the worlds problems. They see us as simpletons.
Sir, we, too want to see the other problems addressed. Like why were these cretins on the street in the first place. I am sick of people being victimized by criminals with rap sheets longer than my arm. Why aren't they in prison?
It is strange that Rep. Debose does not realize we are really the same as him. We just want that "equalizer" to be there when, and if, we need it. And yes, "victims" with guns are a deterrent!
I am surprised that the Cleveland-Plain Dealer would write a positive article on concealed carry. They are very anti-gun and were very vocal against Ohio passing RTC laws. They post the names of folks in the Cleveland area and suburbs that apply for a carry permit.
"I am pregnant and have a communicable disease". And "what about the children" ?
I do believe that feller had an epiphany.
We'll see whether he heeds it when the next gun bill comes up . . .
We'll see when we see what legislation he submits...
Glad to see that he realized the value of a firearm in a violent encounter.
Probably an exemption for state elected officials, like they tried to do here in 2006!
