A woman was killed in her southwest Atlanta apartment by a bullet fired from the during a robbery outside her home late Friday afternoon.

Carr was shot in the back after she came to the door to investigate the commotion. The man, whose name was not available, was shot in the let.

The headline is misleading [Woman killed in apartment from shot fired in botched robbery outside] It's almost like saying robbery's are supposed to go smooth. And it wasn't "botched," the robber just met resistance. The problem was the resistance wasn't armed.

Investigators told Channel 2 that one woman was killed and other victim was pistol whipped.

Family members said Carr was helping to plan a surprise party for her husband.

So her husband was shot in the leg?

I'm as unsure as what happened as the police:

Officers are questioning the surviving victim about the incident and trying to determine if robbery may be a motive.

After canvassing the neighborhood, Atlanta police made two arrests in connection with the shooting Friday night. Princeton Blackwell, 22, and Kerwin Tate, 19, were charged with murder. Police said they believe others may be involved.

Edit2: WGCL 46 is reporting one suspect with a different name...I checked the Fulton County Jail and I believe them:
