Anybody out there have a Ruger sp-101 in 2&3/4" w/ hammer that carry on the belt? If so, what rig carries it the best? I have a nice holster for my 1911, and I want to get one for the Ruger, but I can't decide. Any tips?

    My carry gun is a S&W Model 60LS and I use a Ross model M15 inside-the-waistband holster.

This holster is easy to put on and take off and doesn't print unless I'm wearing a muscle shirt (pause for laughter...).

It's a nice, comfortable holster that I wear cross-draw. I've discovered cross draw makes it far easier to retrieve one's weapon whilst entangled in a seat belt.

Your Ruger is about the same size/shape as the J frame S&W, so this holster should fit it.

I purchased the holster from Bulls Eye in Cumming and I think it cost me less than $30.

Here's more info on this particular holster:

    Hope this helps.
