Raymond Royal Marshall, producer of the Neal Boortz Radio Show, died suddenly at his Atlanta home early Saturday. He was 43. Marshall is survived by his wife Annette, and two daughters, Amira, 4 and Ava, 2.

Marshall collapsed at his home. Paramedics responded to his wife's call to 911, but were unable to revive him. He was pronounced dead early Saturday at Grady Hospital.

Always enjoyed Royal's moments on the mic. His passion towards his girls one thing about him that stands out to me. He will be missed.

I'm gonna miss him. Been listening to him for years and I especially liked his own show he had for a while "The Royal Treatment" where he was just about the most open minded, down to earth, genuine person I'd ever heard on the radio. I was shocked to hear the news. Georgia lost a good man today. :(

I've listened to the Boortz show since I was a kid and remember Royal even then, definitely a major loss and he will be missed. My condolences to his family and coworkers

Sad. I briefly sort of met him at a Boortz event a few years ago. I noted then that he was younger and healthier looking than I expected because everyone asked how Belinda, Royal, and Boortz really looked. Again, very sad.

Sad. I too was a huge fan. I really enjoyed the Royal Treatment and was waiting for him to make a return as the host of his own show. He will be missed.

Listen to Boortz while going to work and always enjoyed Royal's interaction on the show.

May he rest in peace.
