Rep. Dan Lakly passed on this morning. He was in favor of the right to keep and bear arms (voted yes on HB 89 last year) and represented a portion of Fayette County.

It is anticipated that the Governor will open qualifiying and hold an election to fill his state house position in December.

Some people in the Fayette County area will be announcing candidacies next week.

To the extent these candidates might be solidly in favor of the right to bear arms, as Rep. Lakly was (or maybe even for the repeal of the public gathering law), people on this board should volunteer time for them.

I am gathering information now, but others should be doing the same.

Well, are you one of the 32,000 people the young Rep. Matt Ramsey, District 72, now represents? If so, have you met with him regarding HB 915? If not, why not?
I noticed that he is not one of the cosponsors. Where are our north Fayette County people residing in District 72?
