I have a mint condition Randall Knife model 25- 5" with beautiful stag handle, nickel silver hilt and buttcap.
If you know Randalls, you'll want this knife.
Open to nice handgun trade offers.
$750
I can email pics.

I'm having a hard time understanding how a knife can be worth over $700.
I don't mean to bash your posting or the product you're selling,
but maybe it would help if you told us what makes this knife so valuable?
Or is this the kind of knife that only a serious knife collector would want, and it's worth $750
simply because it's a Randall, it's handmade, and it's an upper-end variation of a fairly rare knife?

Hey, it cuts real good.
But soon as you use it or sharpen it... depreciation, big time.

A friend of mine is a knife connoisseur and considers especially valuable the hand made, perfect specimens.

Randall is the Rolex of knives. Each one is hand made, high quality, and I believe there is currently a 4-5 year wait list to order one from them directly.

If you're a hardcore collector I imagine this would tickle your fancy.

I was going to say something negative, but that would be bashing, so I'm keeping my thoughts to myself.

P.S. If this particular knife has been to space, great, I'll pay a fistful of Ben Franklins for it.
But the fact that some other knife made by the same company went to space... means about as much to me as the fact that one astronaut took a roll of Mercury dimes up with him.

Please, before you 'sarcastically question' the knife, just search Randall Knife on ebay...you'll see the other prices on these knives and learn that they are highly sought after and collectible knives.
$750 is a drop in the bucket for some models. And like someone else pointed out, there is a 5 year waiting list if you just want to order one directly from Randall....There is around a 150-200 dollar mark up on ones you can buy right now as opposed to waiting the 5 years.
Just because youve never heard of them, doesnt mean that they are not a collectible item, or its not worth my asking price.
Its a great knife, and if you want an investment piece, id be happy to work out a trade with you. :D
