question about getting a CWL

609 Views 4 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  jmathis84
My neighbor is 33, he's been living in GA for 4 years. About 10 years ago he was convicted of "intent of bodily injury" while he was living in Texas. This was the result of a domestic dispute, girl and 2 guys, the girl and the other guy decided to throw my neighbor to the wolves.....

Anyway, will this affect his ability to obtain a carry license?

If I remember correctly, any kind of domestic violence conviction is an automatic disqualifier.
I can't seem to find the code section that states this as a disqualifier...may just be the effects of a few pints of porter after dinner.
Im pretty sure he cannot get a GWL.
