I've been looking for some quality OWB holsters for my pistols. I've pretty much decided upon either a DeSantis speed break or scabbard or a Galco equivalent. I've found on the net some really good prices, but they are all at police supply houses.

It doesn't say they are for LEOs only, but the sites are definetly marketing towards LEOs.

    Thoughts?

I added a random holster to "my cart" on the first site and went to checkout and there isn't anything where you have to prove you are a LEO or anything like that. I assume that's what you're asking?

Most of the LEO supply sites will sell to anyone with out any problems.

They'll usually say something like "leo only" if you aren't elegible to purchase.

I don't know of any holster maker out there that restricts sales, but I guess there could be a few. As for supply houses, other than obvious stuff such as uniforms and class III weapons and some munitions, I have never dealt with any that wouldn't sell to any paying customer. Some of manufactures enforce marketing agreements as to what can and can't be sold to the public, and the pricing can be different on certain items.
