While it is not illegal to carry an assault rifle, it is against the law to use the gun to alarm people, Gallichant said.
"I think it is important that people understand that although he may not be specifically charged with carrying a weapon out in the open like that, just the act of doing so can cause public alarm, which is covered by disorderly conduct," Gallichant said.

My bro's out in California right now. Got pulled out because apparently he has a tendency to dehydrate real easy. He's fallen out like 4 or 5 times in the past few months. He's hydrating just fine, just can't hold his water or something. He was fine before he joined up and all through basic and all that. So, i don't know.cdtracing said:I joined at 17 also.ptsmith24 said:My brother did.Malum Prohibitum said:I did.Macktee said:Actually, with parental permission, 17 year-olds can join the military.

Disorderly conduct, the best friend of bad cops everywhere. A charge for disorderly conduct is a chicken"I think it is important that people understand that although he may not be specifically charged with carrying a weapon out in the open like that, just the act of doing so can cause public alarm, which is covered by disorderly conduct," Gallichant said.

I agree. Seems to go against the 1st amendment, especially the obscene garbage. If you're not threatening anyone or inciting others to violence, seems like the 1st should cover you. As for the public alarm: I'm personally very ALARMED when 80 year old ladies merge into me in traffic without noticing anything is wrong. Scares the bejesus outta me. Could I claim I'm scared everytime I get in my car and the fuzz would shut down the lanes just for me? I know those evil old ladies are out there.RedBeard said:Disorderly conduct, the best friend of bad cops everywhere. Sounds like a case for small claims court.elorei said:So cops have the time to go screw with this guy over nothing yet I can not get Gwinnett County or Barrow County to do a single thing about a guy cutting up and parting out a car I held a lien on?
Too much time is being spent on the wrong things.
