    Just another painfull example of how the folks that everyone assumes are "experts" tend to be less responsible and safety minded than you or I... Too bad an inocent kid has to pay the price for his parents lack of judgement.

    What a tradegy. The parents will never get over it and the kid will never get to grow up.

    I wish you hadn't posted that one Gunns... I surprised myself because I almost cried when I read it.

    Damn! What a horrible thing to have happen.

    What a tragedy. I really feel for the family

    This is why I have a handgun safe with myself as the only one with access. I just couldn't trust a locked closet where other people could get in.

    Sad indeed, but I'm also waiting to see if charges will be filed as they almost always are in the case of a civilian firearm being left where a child finds and discharges it.
