I don't believe it - Sarah Brady told me to call the cops when I'm threatened. A cop would never do this.
Just one more case reminding us that the police have no duty to protect you and, in fact, are free to even ignore you or give your attacker a courtesy ride back to your house, as in this case.
So much for a protective order as well.
