Is your chief a member?
It's funny how they admit that the gun show loophole is a misnomer in the same sentence that they condemn it.
What they really want to do is ban gun shows; I wish they'd just admit that. But then again if they did they'd have to advocate that position on the merits of the law, something they can't do.
When the law and facts don't work you...obfuscate.
That description of their mission is just a tad bit narrow.
Has the Joyce Foundation bought the IACP?

They both have been on my anti-gun links page since I created it. https://www.georgiapacking.org/links_antigun.php
I have been aware of them since I read an article with a batch of anti gun statements by a police chief, lawyer, and a doctor.
With their names, I found each was a big part of one of these organizations:
Physicians for Social Responsibility
International Association of Chiefs of Police
Legal Community Against Violence
Which is when I realized that a new low had been sunk to when a large foundation has to create grants to fund little groups of doctors, lawyers, mayors (bloomberg's group of Mayors Against Guns was started by funding from Joyce), and chiefs of police to call for anti-gun measures using the media on behalf of their profession, and neglect to mention that they are being paid by the Joyce foundation to be there.
Incase you missed it or needed one more reason not to like him, Obama was on the Board of Directors for Joyce from 98-02.
You don't need to buy them - their elitist attitude is enough of a problem for us "civilians."
