Long story, I'll try to make it short. I bought an M&P40 earlier in the year. Money was tight at the time, so the M&P had to go. Well I have missed it ever since then. So when I got the chance to get a like-new .45 I jumped.

It is just as nice as the .40, but seems to fit my hand even better since the grip is a tad larger to accomodate the .45acp cartridge. It came with all standard equipment: hard case, paperwork, 3 interchangeable backstraps, two 10rd mags (word is that hi cap 14rd mags will be available soon :D ), cable lock.

Smooth 6.5lb trigger pull (I may or may not get this lightened). I can't wait to get some time in with this new toy. I also understand that holsters designed for the Glock 21 will also work with this pistol.

I use the 40cal compact version as my main carry. A great gun to own.

The M&Ps are great pistols. The only reason that I sold my full size 9mm was because that damned Sig bug came up and bit me on the a**.

I still want a 9mm M&P, but I may settle for a 3rd gen Glock 19...
