Last week we shot some recent production .380 FMJ ammo by "Perfecta" made in Italy and distributed by TulAmmo.

Out of 50 rounds fired from two different pistols, we had two rounds that were noticeably under-powered.
Both of them sounded as if a silencer were used on the end of the muzzle, but of course there wasn't.

One of the rounds was so weak it did not cycle the action.

The second bad round did work the slide, and the next round did manage to feed but the empty case barely fell out of the ejection port, and you could tell it was underpowered.

So, be careful with this brand. I'd hesitate to carry these rounds for self-defense even though I will usually carry full metal jacket range ammo in a little 380 pocket pistol.
