So what are the laws regarding the carry of pepper spray? I ask because I want to carry a thing of bear pepper spray when I go mountain biking.
What the Official Georgia State Law Says
After our team searched and searched the Georgia law books, we did not find a single state law restricting the use, purchase, shipment or specification of self defense products, such as pepper spray. You are free to purchase any self defense item from our website that best fits your safety situation.
There are no statutes/laws concerning use of defensive sprays.Well does the capacity of the pepper spray matter?
I recommend Sabre Red Mk 6 streaming pepper spray. Good OC concentration, effective, portable. I carry it daily.Does anyone know a good/reliable brand of pepper spray? I'm looking to buy some as a less-than-lethal option.
Thanks!I recommend Sabre Red Mk 6 streaming pepper spray. Good OC concentration, effective, portable. I carry it daily.

In Georgia? I don't believe so... GA state law doesn't really cover sprays at all. Obviously don't take it to school, and if it's ever used it needs to be used defensively (ie. make sure the maturity is there!)I have a soon to be 16 year old daughter. Is there an age restriction on pepper spray carry?
All the dealers I have checked state 18 y/o minimum age to purchase and use. Probably has to do with selling a "weapon" to a minor. Here's a couple.I have a soon to be 16 year old daughter. Is there an age restriction on pepper spray carry?
