i ate too many oysters at the party last night and i feel kinda sluggish this morning. ii blame it on pelosi. had she been even more aggressive with her agenda and brought unemployment even lower, then maybe i wouldnt have a job and wouldnt have been able to afford to have the party. its pelosi fault i dont feel good this morning.

I'm admittedly horrible at "ancient history", but I seem to recall that the Dot-com bubble bursting brought on a mini-recession right before Bush took office. At the time, although the numbers were clearly trending downwards there was not a long enough drop to properly define it as a recession until after Bush took office. (Pretty much like the bus driver getting out of his seat before the bus crashes say "It's not my fault, I'd left my seat right after the skidding started, but before the bus even left the road. So it's not my fault that it hit the tree. That all happened after I had left."

It also seems to me that the economy recovered under the Bush administration right up until the mid-term elections at which a different party secured control of both the House and the Senate. Coincidentally, right after that the economy began to backslide again.

Soooo..... In a way, Pelosi is correct. Bush did cause the latest round of Democrat losses.

Actually she partially right, but its the pot calling the kettle black. A socialist calling another socialist a socialist. The reason that the Dems lost and Republicans won is that the American people are too indoctrinated by our society, public school system, and media; maybe even too stupid, to realize that doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. NOTHING IS EVER GOING TO CHANGE.

Socialism IS the problem. Bailouts (Bush, Obama) and Marxist programs (FDR, Wilson, Carter, Clinton, ect.) Welfare, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, and Community Reinvestment Acts, ect. are the problem.

At the root of all of this is the bad Commerce clause Supreme Court decision and the Welfare Clause, and at the root of all of this is the 14th amendment and the Reconstruction Acts.

If anyone reading this really thinks that the Republican wins in Congress are really going to change anything, you are seriously mistaken. Wake up.

We are screwed. The answers have been given to you and you refuse to believe them or do what is needed to restore this once great Republic Federation.

I do not believe we will be able to get ourselves out of this mess by voting. We are screwed. Just sit back and watch the circus, and eventually the fireworks. Go get yourself some ammo.
