Apparently, the only places off limits are courthouses and the federal restrictions.

Warning - Disagreement coming.
Colorado did it just two years ago, and the only places off limits are schools and places that use full time metal detectors (in which case you can still carry inside but must turn over the gun until you leave). And open carry is legal. That is pretty close to Oregon's law. Oregon is better on the schools (allows carry), Colorado is better on the courthouses (can carry to the metal detectors and check in firearm).
If you think politics in Colorado are conservative - another disagreement coming . . .
