Hello all...I have a new toy on the way, a FN FS2000. I'm trying to decide what Optic I want for it.

I am leaning towards an EOTech right now. I do like the Trijicon ACOG, just not sure they are worth as much as they cost....to me anyway.

I'm not going to shoot anything long range so 1x-4x is really all I've been looking at.

Any recommendations?

It really depends on your intended application of the weapon. If you only plan to break out this weapon every once in a while, I'd say go with a cheapy BSA red-dot. If you want to be slightly more accurate with a hint of tacticool then get either a Aimpoint or EOtech.

Between the two it is really personal preference. I prefer the EOtech myself.

ACOGs are nice, but if you're not doing longer shots, the ACOG is not ideal. It will look good on your Space Rifle

How do you like it? Lack of SA.
