All,

I've been looking for an ankle holster for a G27, and while looking at EBay, came across some from Barsony, an Oregon based manufacturer.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks,

T

I have no experience with them, but looking at their website:

http://www.barsonyholstersandbelts.com/servlet/StoreFront

Stuff looks pretty generic. The "heavy belts appear to be a single leather strap which won't hold up for very long with continued use. No where near Al's stuff.

No boning on any of the holsters I looked at. Generic "one size" type holsters.

If you are looking at the nylon-cordura Model 7 or 7A holsters I don't think you will be really happy with them.

I'm thinking with the fabric backing this thing will slip and slide all over your ankle unless you tighten the velcro like a tourniquet.

Take a look at the Galco ankle glove or the Renegade Cozy Partner.

Hope that helps.

Looks like an even cheaper, flimsier version of the old Uncle Mike's nylon ankle holster.

I'd pass on it, personally.
