Open Georgia is a gateway for obtaining information and key documents about how the State of Georgia spends tax dollars and other revenues to provide services to Georgians. The information maintained on this site comes from various state agencies and is updated annually.

I have not fully surfed the site, but it seems worthy of a look. It may answers some questions folks here have from time to time. YMMV.

Good to know it is accurate (at least from your experience). Glad you liked it. I have found it helpful.

The same thing for municipalities would be very helpful.

I work for the state also, and it shows what I get paid.

One caveat about pay: it shows only what someone was actually paid in a fiscal year, not necessarily what their salary was.

I've used that site many times.

Next time you get your property tax bill, look what you're being billed for school tax. Then go to the Open Georgia website, look up your local Board of Education. It'll give ya the warm-fuzzys to know who and what you're paying for....and I'm not talking about teachers!
