I have been using an OWB leather belt holster that I just bought. It holds the gun VERY snug against my body so when I untuck my shirt, you dont even notice it under the shirt.

I only did that because I don't have a OC holster for the Hk yet.

When I had my Glocks I had a true open carry holster that was OWB. That is what I open carried with. This past weekend was the first time my Hk has seen the outside world while in a holster.

So yes, all the times I talked about me open carrying it was with my OD Glock 19 in an OWB Comp-Tac paddle holster. Pretty hard to miss.

Yes, I did.

And yet no one tried to snatch my gun, shoot me in the back of the head, rape me or any other number of fantastical stories you hear about open carry.

I was meaning to ask this question myself. Only have a OWB paddle for my G23 so yeah it's hard to miss. The non-retention factor makes me a little nervous with the paddle though.

Comp-tac makes a paddle holster with tabs that fit under your belt. Once the tabs are under the belt, the holster is not coming off. Its called the locking paddle. It just like their other paddle holsters, very comfie.

I use mine for IPSC Production.

I've heard (cannot confirm) there are a gangs of female GSU students that roam off-campus looking for clean cut, cool looking dudes of high intellect that carry HK's OWB that will force alcohol down the throat of unsuspecting dudes. Keep your situational awareness on high alert.
