I just wanna say that the people who have been making the latest Rainbow Six games have completely bastardized it from its original glory.gsusnake said:I just picked up a 360, and I've been playing a lot of Rainbow Six: Vegas online.
I think you're thinking of GRAW.Rammstein said:I just wanna say that the people who have been making the latest Rainbow Six games have completely bastardized it from its original glory.gsusnake said:I just picked up a 360, and I've been playing a lot of Rainbow Six: Vegas online.
They took it from a tactical shooting game to a run and gun piece of crap that is more to the liking of lamers who play quake.
I hope to meet the makers of these recent games so I can tell them just how much they f-cked up a great series.

My brother's don't play their 360 anymore so I might "borrow" it from them and start playing that.

Rainbow Six is still as fun as it used to be.
GRAW is pretty slow-moving, especially when compared to CS, BF2, Quake, et. al.gsusnake said:I think you're thinking of GRAW.
I enjoyed those two the most - the rest have gone downhill. It honestly just depends on who they're going after, market-wise. Older gamers tend towards more cerebral games instead of "shoot anything that moves and collect what it drops".Ramm said:The game is neat, don't get me wrong, but it is nothing like the awesomeness of the Rainbow Six (the original) and RS: Rogue Spear.
I might be the only one, but XBL took all the enjoyment out of Halo 2 for me. I loved the single player, but when I started playing the multi-player online, I would have my hat handed to me by a 10 year old within seconds of starting.gsusnake said:I've gotta get the Halo 2 skillz up to speed before I play against some of the assassins on Xbox Live, though...
+1, I downloaded the Lockdown PC demo last year and was throughly pissed off.Rammstein said:That a negative.gsusnake said:I think you're thinking of GRAW.

The newer RS games are made for console, which usually translates to being made for the lowest common denominator. The game is neat, don't get me wrong, but it is nothing like the awesomeness of the Rainbow Six (the original) and RS: Rogue Spear
