What is YOUR opinion on the new Immigration bill (Amnesty) being sold?
For a group of people who advocate strictly following the Constitution, it seems many of us forget that the 14th amendment states that anyone born here is a citizen. :wink:your children born in the US are NOT US citizens (no more anchor babies)

1) build a wall 20' high & 10' wide from the Gulf to the Pacific
2) once done, have a huge publicity campaign (in spanish) advising that all illegals have 2 months to liquidate any & all assets as best they can & cross the border. No questions asked by US officials.

4) After that 2 month date any in the US illegally has all possessions confiscated and is placed in jail until such time as they can be relocated to the other side of the nearest border.
5) implement a new expedited work visa plan so that anyone who wants to work in the US can quickly & easily apply for the visa & work here. BUT, you don't get to vote, you pay taxes, you must report your location at all times, you can not own property, you get limited healthcare (part of what your taxes will go towards), your children born in the US are NOT US citizens (no more anchor babies) and you can only remain in the US for a limited time on this visa (though you can quickly reapply for a renewal). You can be working towards permanent citizenship while on the visa. If you have any serious criminal record you get can't get the visa. If you break any serious laws in the US while on a visa it's revoked and you can NEVER get another or apply for US citizenship.
6) English is to become the official US language. You MUST learn or be working towards learning English if you are here on the migrant worker visa. All official US business is conducted in English.
7) Kalifornia is detached from the North American continent via a chain of explosions planted in the various fault lines & allowed to float out to sea. We kick the state out of the Union and send all the Libtards to live there free of guns & with all the lack of common sense they want.

WASHINGTON â€" Capping months of back-room talks, a bipartisan group of senators reached agreement today on a deal that would benefit millions of illegal immigrants, reorder the U.S. legal immigration system and toughen border security.
The deal, struck by about 10 Democrats and Republicans working with the Bush administration, heads to the Senate floor next week.
While negotiators expressed optimism that it would garner widespread support from both Democrats and Republicans, immigrant-rights groups, labor unions, business and other interests have expressed concern about different aspects of the sprawling legislation. And conservatives are sure to be hammered with complaints from their base that any deal legalizing illegal immigrants is tantamount to amnesty.
In the House, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., made no commitments to embrace the Senate deal, which differs in many ways from the leading bill the House intends to take up in July.
The Senate deal would:
• Grant the nation's estimated 12 million illegal immigrants legal status with an indefinitely renewable "Z" visa, and allow many to eventually apply for citizenship. They would have to pay $5,000 in fines to get the visa, and those seeking legal permanent residence would have to return to their home country to apply.
• Establish a temporary worker program admitting 400,000 workers yearly for a two-year visa after which they world be required to return home for a year and then re-apply. The vast majority of the temporary workers would not be eligible to stay in the U.S. permanently.
• Add 6,000 more Border Patrol agents, establish an employment verification system mandatory for employers to check the status of new hires, and toughen interior enforcement.
• Tip the legal immigration system more towards rewarding high-skilled, educated immigrants, though it also would continue to allow U.S. residents to bring in relatives, though on a more limited basis.
Though the negotiators expressed confidence that their deal would be widely approved, there were signs that the agreement isn't universally admired.
Three of the negotiators â€" Texas Republicans Kay Bailey Hutchison and John Cornyn and New Jersey Democrat Robert Menendez â€" were not on stage when the deal was announced.
Speaking before the deal was struck, Hutchison said her support was contingent on reading the entire bill, which has yet to be fully written. "It's going to be very important to me to have the written word to see exactly what is in the bill," she said.
Cornyn, who battled Democrats to stiffen enforcement, voiced displeasure today with the broad outlines of the deal.

It make me F'n sick that these illegals are getting almost free if not free health care and medicine while my grandparents have to pay $700 a month in supplemental insurance to cover what medicare does, and F'n illegals get the sh!t for almost free....What the hell is wrong with this country Illegals get better care than out Veterans, senior citizens etc....
Its not hard. My wife is a legal immigrant from Vietnam. Alot of paper work for sure, and interviews with immigration offcials, but not impossible. Only had to wait a year and a half before she got a visa to come over. Once she came over it was alot easier to get her permanent residence status (green card) than it was to get a visa.What I don't understand is why it's so hard to legally emigrate to this country
