Yuck. I don't like pit bulls, but it could have been any dog. Well, maybe not a chihuahua or a toy poodle, but you get the idea.

I think the family should move to a completely different city if not a different state, otherwise his teenage years could be rough.

    I have my doubts.

    Apparently, so do the police.

I thought the police were doing a good job by checking DNA, but with neighbors saying they helped pull the dog off the kid... Well it's bad enough if it was the dog. It's a dog & they do that kind of thing - legs, towels etc.. so I could see it being possible if highly unlikely. I just hope they don't find out it WASN'T the dog.

possible but why would the neighbors have an interest in doing so? I'm not disagreeing here but at some point I have to think that most people would not be willing to back up a child abuser/molester. Lots of things that might give the parents the leverage over the neighbors of course but still...

I don't know. Maybe more will come out on it.

Well it starts to sound worse now.
    1) Apparently mom's story has waffled slightly a time or two.
    2) Mom apparently started out making a big deal about having the dog put down right away which made the local animal shelter guy suspicious (he's refusing to kill the dog since A. there is an investigation ongoing B. even if the dog did this it wasn't an agressive type thing, just a young dog doing what dogs do and C. he's not buying moms story).

I was originally thinking - not likely that someone molested the kid & then tried to pawn it off on the dog given that the neighbors helped remove the dog from the baby. Now what I'm (and apparently the cops too) are thinking is that maybe somone helped the dog mount the child & then something went wrong, the dog ran out & the kid was still stuck & the neighbors saw it so.... Sick. Sick. Sick.
    3) mom has apparently moved.

still nothing I can find with an outcome by the investigation though.

    I call :bsflag:

First dogs that are "humping" objects are usually not doing it in a sexual manner. Now some studs that are used for AI will masturbate but come on. In order for the boy to have to have had reconstructive surgery there would have had to be a tie up so and if so was the baby not wearing a diaper?

    something seems fishy to me
