I saw EJRs post about the restore the constitution rally(viewtopic.php?f=36&t=53128) and did a quick google search to learn more. I saw the following comment and wasn't sure if that was GA law or just the wishes of the event planners.

Rifles must be unloaded, chamber flagged, and slung to the rear with barrel pointed down. You are welcome to bring ammo and magazines in harnesses/vests on your person. Pistols can be loaded, but must remain holstered.

a constitutional rally huh...... i dont remember anything in the constitution about keeping your gun unloaded and flagged, or about keeping it in a holster.........

I don't think that's a law.
That is a rule of conduct that the event organizers came up with.
Something about putting LEO's at ease and not wanting to be portrayed as a dangerous mob, all trigger-happy and looking to kill.
