A 26-year-old Waukesha man recently let his holiday spirit bleed over into his choice of weaponry.
Police had just served a subpoena to the man at 3:22 p.m. Oct. 27 while he was in Municipal Lot #3, 930 Clinton St.
The man, who was uncooperative and acting strangely, agreed to a pat-down search, and police found him to be in possession of a nutcracker.
He told them he carried the nutcracker for protection.
The man was cited for carrying a concealed weapon.
