Then why do they keep sending out request for much needed funds to cover expenses? I always reply take it out of Wayne LaPierre's wages then I may consider sending more funds. If you get rid of Wayne LaPierre I will definitely be sending funds.

Things are not happy in Fairfax. Some directors are getting antsy. Pete Brownell resigned. Allen West was not gracious in a recent Ammoland article.

Wayne's many suits aren't gonna pay for themselves.

Apparently neither did Wayne. Ackerman-McQueen or the NRA did. Personal clothing is not a legitimate business expense.

Zegna, Tom Ford or JC Penney. Makes no difference. Personal clothing is not a business deduction.

The palace intrigue intensifies. Chris Cox has been suspended as director of NRA-ILA.

An article that attempts to answer all the questions. There’s an interesting opinion in the middle of it. The author thinks this might have all started when NY threatened to audit them as a gun-control tactic. That might have started NRA infighting over money issues.

It’s really not looking good for the NRA. The BoD are obviously not “directors,” just prestige positions. I hope the training side can get saved out of it.

    https://slate.com/news-and-politics...mail-wayne-lapierre-marion-hammer-revolt.html

Over the weekend, former NRA President Marion Hammer sent a private email to board members telling them to fall in line or face the consequences.

    . . .

Hammer did not respond to requests for comment by Slate.*

Hammer’s letter was posted publicly on Sunday to the Facebook page of a group called Save the Second, which says it hopes to reform the NRA from the inside.

What does "fall in line" mean?
Directors are elected by the members.
In most companies, the Directors set long-term policy goals and establish the criteria for evaluating the performance of the executives who handled the day-to-day business.

If the Prez, the Executive Vice President, or CEO are not performing well, then the Board of Directors can terminate them and hire replacements.

(Though the company may have to give them a golden parachute severance package if the VP's have employment contracts.)

Hammer has been Wayne's attack dog for decades. She proved herself to be against the best interests of FL gun owners - in particular to open carry - and now she's giving Wayne shade on a national level. Her and I had a public "discussion" years ago on AmmoLand. She's not on my Christmas card list anymore.
