Is anyone going to attend this three day event? If so let me know because I work right there year round in a WWII hanger. I'll buy lunch!

However, food for thought!
This is on Public Property but some buildings may be owned by Georgia State University and other "schools". Also Georgia University Sponsers/Operates this event.

I assume you mean the Ag Expo in Moultrie. I'd love to go. When is it this year? Hope it's not next week. I'm still in Scotland. Been meaning to scope out the local LEO's and see what they're packing, but they are so scarce. You rarely see any walking around.

Yeap, next week... Tuesday thru Thursday
BTW, I will be giving air rides ;-)
I went to the Sunbelt Expo years ago. It was a lot of fun. Many retailers show up and give things away. My father was wearing Dickies pants and got a free hat, if you showed the young lady your Dickie's she would give you a hat.

I tried that and got :dtmb:

I normally go every year, but last year I was out of town and this year the same. I would love to go though I have a habit of coming home with tractors, implements or something else I can't afford.
Looks like all went well. I was giving air rides in this thing...but it has training wheels! Sorry I didn't meet anyone who went this year! I was a bit bzy all three days. Logged 20.4 hours, 375 passengers and 125 landings.

Nice plane! That's not an airplane you'll often see used for giving rides.
You are correct!

Check where I work...here:

and she's for sale, too!

It sure seems like a shame to put a nose wheel on a beauty like that. I flew an 8A Luscombe when I was younger, and flying the tailwheel was a point of pride. Unfortunately, it was destroyed in 1997. It was a nice airplane.

It's amazing that in this day and age you can speak directly to the son of the original designer about his airplanes! It must be difficult (tongue-in-cheek) to work on Maules all day..
