No Guns signs on Kensington Rd. in DeKalb County.

On Kensington Rd. in DeKalb County there are two "no weapons or guns on state property" signs. They are visible from each direction of traffic. They are professional official permanent government road-sign type signs. I believe they are on, or near to, DOT property.

I believe between the medical examiner's office and Durham Park rd.
I can't find Durham....can you point to the place on the map where the sign hurt you.
Simply stick a dot there and copy the url.
Durham runs from Kensington to S. Indian Creek Drive. Runs under 285 near Kensington.

Google Street View shows the sign at 3696 Kensington Rd.

I don't see a reason for it, maybe someone there could call around.
Appears to be at the entrance to the DOT. Probably been there for years, no one has questioned it until now?
GA National Guard at 3740 Durham Park Rd?
I see them at the GDOT location. I wonder if that's a condition of employment sign if the intent is to provide criminal notice.
Anyhow, the sign is misleading and should come down.
Maybe some specific facility along that road can be a theoretical weapons free (victim disarmament) zone, but there's no law that bans weapons or guns from State property. In fact, just the opposite-- all places that are NOT listed or cross-referenced in 16-11-127 are legal for carry, and all gun restrictions coming from any source other than O.C.G.A. law are null and void, per state preemption (16-11-173).

Can you get a pic of the sign?
Is there a sticker or any info on the back of the sign indicating who put it up, or when?
