I'd love to go to the march but I'll be at the WMA also. At least for a couple of hours then gotta head back home.

Letters/emails will have to do my marching for me. Besides I wouldn't be able to carry at the march. Not leagally anyway...

We should organize a million gunman march. Wouldn't that be cool? A million men and women marching downtown all armed. Is a parade considered a public gathering? Then again they can't arrest a million people that are all armed.

Public gathering? If you can get a million people to do that, please sign up 10% of them for GCO and there won't be any state gun laws left against which to march.

I'm suprised that the NRA hasn't done anything like that. Even if it was just 100,000 or even 25,000 that'd be a statement. The NRA doesn't really seem like an organization that is concerned with bearing arms though. They seem more like a gun club for sporting/recreational use. Maybe I could run this idea by the JPFO.

Georgia Republicans Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss will vote against moving the Senate’s immigration overhaul measure forward, the senators said today.

“I think everybody did a noble effort to try to deal with the problem in a comprehensive way,†Isakson said. “But it became apparent that the confidence level was not there.â€

Isakson said he and Chambliss had heard from voters back home that they didn’t have faith in another measure that promises border action because past promises have yet to be fulfilled.

They're right, partially. It's not just that I don't have faith in the measure; it's that I don't have faith in the measure, the congress, my judiciary, my bureaucracy, my president, or my senators.

Even though they backed down, I still don't think they're getting my vote. That's like keeping a dog that tries to bite you when you're not looking, and wags his tail at you when you are looking.

I wonder who the LP candidate will be, and whether it will be an open or closed border Libertarian...
