So, I am unclear. What is the issue with this Cho fellow and his mental illness. Is it something that the law requires to be reported to NICS? Was he committed? Or was it outpatient? If he was committed, was it voluntary?

Is everybody who talks to a counselor now going to be put into NICS?

    Marriage counseling?

    A little stress?

A rape victim who sees a psychologist?

A police officer who shoots somebody?

As GOA pointed out, our military boys coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan (and the Philippines)?

And what if you are committed and they find nothing wrong with you, and you are released?

I'm with Ron Paul, we have to be VERY careful with how we involuntarily commit people or label them as having a mental illness. Gun rights activist need to get behind that point too. "Gun nut" anyone?
