I've seen these recommended on other sites too. They look like they're really high quality but I think I would feel a little too much like Walker, Texas Ranger.

I think that you'll like it. I have a belt that Tom made, one of his IWB holsters for my Walther and an IWB in the mail for my M&P. I'll probably get an OWB from him for my 1911 and an IWB from him for my Taurus after I get it.

Isn't is noisy or does that go away after "breaking it in"?

Best leather holsters in America (humble opinion). So good that people will wait 6 months to get one.

My SOB for my M&P compact should arrive later this month. I've been using a DaSantis IWB and do not really care for it. The one I purchased for my Kimber Pro Raptor is so nice. The inside is suede. :)

    It's squeaky as all hell.

The detectives with Bulloch SO who recommended it to me said once it breaks in (about 3 months of hard, on-duty use) it doesn't squeak any more.
