Great forum and Web site. Many years ago, I was issued a firearms license. Having lapsed, I had to reapply anew.

This site has been a big help in guiding me through the process. Thanks.

I will now proceed to the sticky on those waiting on their license and report my experiences.

Welcome! Judge Dodd does not follow the law. Expect a longer than 60 day wait unless you and Judge Dodd are fishin' buddies.

My father was career army and he "let" me clean his 1911A1 when I was a kid. I could field strip the old .45 before I could read.

I learned at an early age the effectiveness of a huge piece of lead. Some of my best memories are of me and my dad reloading .45 then making more empty brass at the range.
