Attention NFA trust makers, and those considering that route for registering silencers, SBR's, short shotguns, AOW's, full autos, and destructive devices:

Georgia has changed its trust law to allow for up to a 360 year rule against perpetuities.

House Bill 121 was signed into law this spring.

If you want your trust to last as long as possible (assuming that you do not exercise your power to revoke it during your lifetime and that it does not automatically terminate on your death) you can now extend it out for several lifetimes, not just 21 years beyond the lifetime of a person who was living and mentioned in the trust at the time it was first created .
