Well the massive surge caused the log to reset (resets every 10mb of logged data). So I don't know what caused it.ptsmith24 said:Any idea what caused it? Are you saying that isn't an accurate number?
We were getting so many google spiders at Shooters' Legacy that we went over our bandwidth one month and actually had to ban some of their IPs.Gunstar1 said:Well the massive surge caused the log to reset (resets every 10mb of logged data). I am saying that Goggle, Yahoo, and Microsoft spiders visit the site and forum every day and are generally programmed to not swamp a site with searches. They typically will only generate one or 2 "guests" to appear at a time.
Really... well I am going to have to start looking into it because last month we went over half my bandwidth limit. We he around 57GB of bandwidth used out of 100GB.legacy38 said:We were getting so many google spiders at Shooters' Legacy that we went over our bandwidth one month and actually had to ban some of their IPs.Gunstar1 said:Well the massive surge caused the log to reset (resets every 10mb of logged data).
