New Bud Light Thread

They need to do it again. I’m having a blast watching people on the right, who call the next snowflakes, having a complete and utter meltdown over it. My favorite is hearing people who don’t drink AB InBev products to begin with claiming won’t drink Bud Light anymore.

I heard parts of the Budweiser VP of Marketing lady's interview on talk radio.
Basically she said 'Bud Light is a dying brand, for stupid people, and we need a new kind of customer.'

That sounds to me like a high school boy saying

"I asked a girl out to the prom and she said "no" and all the other girls already have dates, so I'm gonna call myself a trans female and let SOME DUDE take me to the prom. At least I'll have a date."

No news stories reporting that BUD had basically gained back almost all of its supposed "losses" by the close of the market today? Why not?

I reported in the other thread, what, up 6% for a one month period? It's 8.65% now.

When did the news break? April 1? Stock market Monday to close today, it is down 0.55% for 5 days. Blip on the screen. If you had bought $10,000 Monday, you would have been down 55 bucks today.

Check back in 60 or 90 days.

This is what a lot people are overlooking what taking about company loses. For a company the size in AB InBev a few billion dollars is only a couple of percent.

Their 5 day is down less than 1%, their 1 month is up 5.14%, and their 6 month is up 38.39%

1 Month is up 8.65%, not 5.14%.

You’re correct. I look at it wrong. The 5.14 is dollars per share that it’s up, not percentage.

I am seeing a lot more Coors Light trucks on the road. I haven't seen any Budweiser trucks.

Well I guess Donald Trump Jr can Kiss My A**! I don’t care if they give millions to the poor orphans in Africa and feed the starving in Brazil, I still do not agree nor support their current commercial campaign supporting “trans” people. It is demeaning to real females to use a fancy dressing man as their celebrated spokes person.
Giving money to Republicans doesn’t change my opinion at all.
In full disclosure: I don’t drink A-B products anyway. So me not buying their products won’t affect the bottom line at all.

Despite what some person will try to convince everyone here there is not real effective boycott of Budweiser. Budweiser seems to think otherwise... They have released a new add to counter the fiasco.
