New Blog...critque needed

Work decided we should start a firearm/personal safety blog as a customer service. It will be discussing guns/protection and everything in between. It is not particularly aimed at our store...just a general blog of gun/safety issues. Someone check it out and give me some feed back. I am going for entertainment with knowledge mixed in to keep people interested. I am new to this blogging thing and would seriously like to get it right and let it be a useful resource.

Black background with white text... Very bad on the eyes. Consider a light background, please.

Yeah, the black is fine in most of the places there, if you can just invert the actual content area I think you'll be good to go.

the black and white is really rough. ill be seeing lines for about an hour now. and some of your speeling is off too.

I concur, maybe switch the background to gray and text to black.

Please take no offense but I had some trouble understanding this sentence.

I am an NRA certified Instructor with ratings in Pistol, Personal Protection In the Home and Refuse To Be A Victim as well as an NRA certified Range Safety Officer.

I will try to change it to what I thought you meant. So how is this?

I do not know whether that is what you meant, but I am trying to help as I am a noob to NRA certifications and courses and didn't understand.

Thanks for checking it for me. The background/text/format is being changed. The syntax and sentence structure is ALL me. I am not a writer as you can tell but I will work on it.
