NBC: Should U.S. Civilians Carry M-16 Rifles?

    Wow...where can I find one of these "M-16's" lying around, with no NFA paperwork? :roll:

    Media ignorance aside, why shouldn't anyone be allowed to carry an M 16?

    Banning objects has never solved any of the problems in this country.

    Firing from the hip is just about as useful as a bayonet lug. It's those barrel shrouds that really turn them into death machines.

    Can anyone tell what type of compensator the operator uses on her rifle?

    I am assuming it is a compensator by the pattern of powder smoke dispersion visible after each shot.
