July 19: Since the expiration of the domestic ban on assault weapons in 2004, tens of thousands of M-16 rifles have been sold, leaving many to wonder whether or not this is a good thing. NBC's Lisa Myers reports.

Wow...where can I find one of these "M-16's" lying around, with no NFA paperwork?

The ignorance of the media is just amazing...

Media ignorance aside, why shouldn't anyone be allowed to carry an M 16?

Banning objects has never solved any of the problems in this country.

Can anyone tell what type of compensator the operator uses on her rifle?

I am assuming it is a compensator by the pattern of powder smoke dispersion visible after each shot.
