I don't know if this has been mentioned but the casino up at Cherokee , n.c. has several no fire arm signs on most of the doors.

    Indian Tribal Law

Aside from the legal issues of carrying in North Carolina generally, we have to consider that the Cherokee Nation is somewhat self-governing Indian land. They're allowed to have their own laws and enforce those laws even on non-Native people who are just visitors.

It's an issue all over the country. I have never looked into it much.

Yeah, like many of the casinos outside of Vegas, it is not only private property but it is on native american land to boot. The native american's still don't take kindly to white folk, especially white folk with guns. They'll tolerate you at the casino as long as you're losing money, then it is time for you to move along.

You'll get lung cancer if you spend more than an hour in that place.

Till they have real Black-Jack, it is a moot point for me.

I think Lauren is a SPAM-bot who will soon unleash a bunch of ad-posts if allowed to stay.
Does anybody agree & have the same thoughts?

I was wondering about that - digging up really old posts with minimal or no value-add, generic responses seemed suspicious.

Let's get back to the topic then. I am terribly glad that, in the first place, I have never been to such a casino. Btw, I also read that tribes are not required to follow the state orders, so such attitude at casinos is just ok. This was news to me. Secondly, with such a level of customer care, I would rather play poker in an online casino. Generally, I play omaha poker and blackjack during pandemic. But I already really want to go out with my friends, to chat with them, drink whiskey and spin the roulette. But so far the online mode is the safest.

Online gambling is lonely and antisocial.
Do it in person, with a group of friends enjoying the amenities of the facility where you are.

Hmm maybe we should have an GaPacking & Georgia Carry.Org road trip!

We use to have a gambling boat here that went offshore to gamble. Last news I remember of it is when it got stuck on a sandbar for a few days and kept everyone onboard.
