My wife has a tattoo that needs to be finished, and since we moved away from Long Island and the artist that started the piece now lives in CT, there is a very small chance that she would be able to get it finished.

A friend of ours who is an artist down here said that he wouldn't finish it because he didn't start it. Apparently, that is how most artists are. How true is that?

Is any an artist, or know of any, who would finish a piece? There is about 1-2 hours worth of work left.

Thanks in advanced!

Jason Kelly here also does some truly excellent work, and is a very good all around guy.

As far as the "I won't finish someone else's work", it'll depend on the artist and what it is. If what's there to begin with sucks (in the artists opinion), I wouldn't want my name attached to it either. I have a piece (well, my whole left leg from knee down) that was started by an artist up in Ohio when I was going to school. Pretty much just an outline and some shading so far. I've had a few offer to work on it and finish it, but no one yet that I'd actually want to work on it. ;)

yep got I have several friends in the industry. If the work isn't to their standards they wont touch it, they will how ever, cover it up with something else :D Unless its a gun tattoo I'd find a tat forum thats based in GA if ya can. May be of some help.

I sent a request to a friend of mine and this was the response:

Sure. Please tell them to check out Pleasure Points Tattoo in Hiram. That is actually where my husband, Josh Webster tattoos at. He will absolutely help get her finished up! Here is his link: http://www.facebook.com/#!/josh.webster.tattoos Have a great day!
FYI, Hiram is about 15 miles west of Marietta via either Macland Road or State Route 120.

Yes, Brandon is also a friend of my friend who directed me to Josh. I've heard great things about Brandon also.
