...and I can't say enough about this fine firearm that S&W has produced. The ergonomics of the grip are simply outstanding. The gun is supremely controllable. Fire is accurate to point of aim right out of the box. Rapid firing is a breeze, even with the heavier .40 round. I think I am in love! This gun came to me highly recommended and I am very glad to not be disappointed. I don't want to make any Glock lovers mad, but I think this pistol will be a heavy competitor for Glock, both in the civilian market and in military & police contracts (which is what it was designed for).

I'm still saving up for my first carry gun (and waiting on my GFL), so I have to consider all options.

Although I am a true Glock lover, and that M&P sure does look nice, I would offer this advice:

Try a berreta Px4 Storm in .40, it is sooooo sweet!

    Just my :2cents:

Dang... Happy M&P owners everywhere! I want the .45 for home duty, and possibly take it out for a Sunday drive here and there.
