Sent it last Thursday and got it back today. 5 days door-to-door with a holiday weekend in the middle. The guy does good work. 25 bucks to engrave, 15 to send back I think.

What engraving? Markings or something custom?
He created an SBR. I have heard some argue that the original mfg's Serial # is enough but most say that the mfg didn't create the SBR, you did, meaning your name and city,state need to be engraved on the receiver.

ETA: Look closely above the trigger and you will see the engraving thats not blacked out.

Yes, I agree. I know that some believe that the engraving isn't needed and start a big crap throwing fest. All I know is that I don't want to be the one to pay the court costs fighting the ATF over $40 of engraving work.
