I don't really consider any of my other pistols a collector's piece, but this may fit that bill.

1972 Colt, complete with original box, warranty card, original mag, and the paper the pistol came wrapped in.

I am seriously jealous of you right now. I love my Colt but I don't think it can compare to yours.

Wow. I shudder to think what you might have paid for that...Wonder if my wife would agree to sacrificing 2 years of my daughter's college fund for something that sweet...

That is a nice looking gun.

Now all you need to do is have:

Ejection port lowered and flared

Match barrel with bushing installed

Skeletonized trigger installed

Commander hammer installed

Beavertail with bump installed

Night sights installed

Mainspring housing with mag well installed

Extended ambi safety and extended slide release installed

2 piece full length guide rod w/shock buff installed

Extended mag release button installed

Hard chromed

Custom grips installed

And then pick up some eight round magazines....

Then you can carry it!

I'm just kidding man! That is one sweet original Colt. Beautiful and JMB will HAUNT you if you change it!

I'd be afraid to shoot it, it's pristine for a gun of that age!

Congrats!
