Very nice first 1911. I like the look of Kimber's Compacts, their version of the CCO.

Makes it a little easier to conceal with the reduced grip length of the Office frame. But looks don't matter much if it doesn't function well, so let us know how it performs after you get it to the range.

What kind of carry set up are you going to use for it?

I just picked up my first 1911, a plain jane RIA. I put 200rds through it today and it was flawless. I shot 100 Blazer and 100 TulAmmo. I was expecting some hiccups with the cheap aluminum and steel cases but surprisingly it just hummed right along. I'm very impressed with this gun.
