P09/p07. Will shoot the p09 this weekend
P09 holds 20 rounds 9 m
P07 holds 16
Let me know when and where you're going to test it.
It's a shame there's no magazine commonality.
The P07 could've easily been designed to work with existing CZ75 magazines...
And the P09 with SP01 or CZ Tact Sport mags...
Swing and a miss IMO. I've owned both of these guns... they shoot amazing... just can't bring myself to buy $45+ mags...
well the po9 mags will work with the p07
Yes sir. I'm aware of that fact. Was more speaking towards the lack of Mecgar mags in the sub-$30
The cost of the magazines for the CZ P series is a common complaint. If you hang out on the CZ forum it's apparent EVERYONE is waiting for CZ to give Mec-Gar the green light to start producing them under their own brand name.
That aside, the P-series pistols are amazing. For a time I thought they were 'underappreciated', but sales numbers from CZ show they sell just about every one imported into the country and they often go on back order. I had to trade a SIG P320 to get my used P-07, and I think I got the better part of the deal.
I'd carry one if I could get a shadow trigger in it. Still a great gun for the money. I like CZs a lot.
I carry a CZ P07 for my weekend/large carry. They are incredible guns for the money. If they made a pocketable single stack 9mm or .380, I would jump on it and replace my Kahr CW380 for pocket carry.
