3 quick points:

1-- looks like fun! I wonder how far the ball will go with a military blank cartridge and the rifle held at about a 35-degree angle?

2-- This thing also looks like a really effective flash hider. A hollow tube 1.7" wide and about 6" long screwed on your muzzle ought to kill the flash.

3-- If you ever wanted to build your own .223 suppressor that is threaded for standard AR/ M16 barrels, this looks like it would make a good start. You've got the tube and one end all done professionally. All you need is to build the baffles and get an end cap for it. (Naturally you'd need to apply to manufacture it with BATFE, on a Form 1, and pay the tax before you begin modding it).

That could really make golf interesting. I'm betting it wouldn't go over too well on the course though.

Uh.... Effectively firing a projectile over 1/2° in diameter using a propellant cartridge and a threaded barrel? How fast can you get into trouble from the BATF?

(2) any type of weapon by whatever name known which will, or which may be readily converted to, expel a projectile by the action of an explosive or other propellant, the barrel or barrels of which have a bore of more than one-half inch in diameter, except a shotgun or shotgun shell which the Secretary finds is generally recognized as particularly suitable for sporting purposes; and
The bore is still .223".
