I just got a pair Wednesday. These muffs are the best I've tried yet. They don't cut off when you shoot like some of the cheaper muffs do. They electronically dimish the sound to a safe level. They're pretty comfy and are effective at suppressing loud noise. I tested them out by exercising my 16" FAL carbine and .45 Kimber. I wore them about 3 hours continuously Wednesday including an impromptu tree rat hunt. The sound amplification is fantastic. It's not nearly as staticy as my $50 electronic muffs. Lastly these muffs are very low profile compared to every other pair of ear muffs I've seen or own(4 Pair).

Downside: They ain't cheap @ $250/pair
